HAITI'S DUAL SOUL

Our project will be filmed by and for Haitians. We will cast and train 20 promising Haitian filmmakers based on interviews, the stories they want to tell, their access and their film experience. Training will be an intensive 33-day course on smartphone filmmaking. Smartphones, if optimized, are capable of feature quality sound and images.
 

But the film itself is not the ultimate goal. We are creating a team of filmmakers that could produce the raw material for a number of films, television series or news clips that will broaden the world’s understanding of Haiti. It will also provide powerful material for generating funding for Haiti’s dire needs.
