"On the Road in America" is a twelve part documentary-reality series about four young Arabs from the Middle East traveling across America with an American film crew. It aims to foster cross-cultural exchange and help bridge the gap between Arab and American cultures. The cast met with then-Senator Barack Obama, Senator Barbara Boxer and Congressman Sam Farr and attended diverse cultural events including a blues music festival, Red Sox game and dude ranch. The series is created, executive produced and directed by Academy Award-nominated and Emmy-winning producer Jerome Gary.

"On the Road in America" aired several times on the largest distribution network in the Middle East (MBC1) in early 2007 where it was the number two rated prime-time show and aired on the Sundance Channel in the US. It is a Layalina production in association with Visionaire Media.
