Rachel Skidmore, originally from Springfield, Missouri, moved to Los
Angeles in 2008 to pursue her MFA in Film & Television Producing at
Chapman University. During her time at Chapman she produced a number of short films including the comedy CANNONBALL -- one of five Dodge films selected to premiere at the DGA in 2010 as a part of the school's annual "First Cut" event.
Rachel has received grants from Entertainment Partners and the Zonta Club of Newport Beach Harbor for her producing endeavors. She was also
selected for a scholarship to participate in a cross-cultural filmmaking exchange with Taipei National University of the Arts.
Rachel is currently the Post-Production Supervisor for On the Road in
America III and the Production Accountant for American Caravan and Trading Places. Her prior experience includes assisting Academy Award-nominated producer Alexandra Rose and as a literary assistant at top management company, Circle of Confusion.
In addition to her work with Visionaire, she is producing the feature film LIONHEAD with Grandpa Rennier Productions.
