Mary Lambert, Director

A graduate of the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design, Mary Lamberrt's groundbreaking style and narrative skills led to her pioneering work as a film and music video director, helping to fuel the MTV revolution.

Her list of projects as a music video director include a "Who's Who" of superstar performers, including Madonna, Janaet Jackson, Sting, Eurythmics, The Pretenders, Chris Isaak, Mick Jagger, Debbie Harry, Gregory Hines, Lionel Richie, Whiney Houston, Mariah Carey and Dolly Parton.  She has more videos than any other single director in the VH-1 "One Hundred Best Videos of All Time".  Her commercial for "Arrow Shirts" won a Clio and a Bronze Lion at the Cannes Commercial Festival.

Her debut film, SIESTA, starring Jodie Foster, Ellen Barkin, and Martin Sheen was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for best first feature.  Her other films include Stephen King's PET SEMATARY, the highest grossing movie (at the time) for any woman director.  She also  directed the successful sequel, PET II (with Anthony Edwards and Edward Furlong),  CLUBLAND, THE IN CROWD, RETURN TO HALLOWEENTOWN (Debbiei Reynolds and Kimberly Brown) STRANGE FREQUENCIES, GRAND ISLE (Kelly McGillis and Ellen Burstyn) FACE OF EVIL (Tracy Gold and Shawnee Smith), NO RECOURSE (Rachel Ward) and URBAN LEGEND 3 (Kate Mara).  In addition she directed an ACE nominated film for Showtime's DRIVE-IN CLASSIC starring Anthony Ewards and Natasha Wagner.

Her feature documentary, “14 Women” premiered at the AFI Silverdocs festival in May 2007.
